The United States

The fact that we WERE the world power and are no longer should play a roll in where money is spent. Especially on health care. We still provide a substantial amount of aid to less fortunate countries but at some point we need to look in the mirror. Those less fortunate are in our streets and alleys. I'll admit, not to the degree in some countries but poor health nonetheless. Do you think we should recognize or perhaps reassess our position in the world and start thinking about helping ourselves. It seems our taxes are paying for health care around the world but some can't even afford it here.

Should the United States go to a NHS?

National health care, it's not perfect but it's better than the US marketplace health care system in place.
